Manoj Bajpayee opens up on his family relationships amid the release of his film 'Gulmohar'

The love of a family is truly unparalleled and incomparable. It is a bond that embraces us with open arms and holds us strong through life's ups and downs. The much-awaited movie - Gulmohar, directed by Rahul Chittella, starring the Padma Bhushan and National award-winner Sharmila Tagore and the National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee is filled with emotional ties, familial love, and all the elements that keep the family together. The movie's stellar cast also includes National Award winners - Amol Palekar, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth, and Utsavi Jha, amongst others. 

Sharing details about his own family relationships during a recent media interview, Manoj Bajpayee said, 

“I found that the story of Gulmohar resonates with the story of every household, even mine. My father built a house for his family with a lot of love and attention to detail, but all his children went to different cities to make their own living, and my parents were left alone in that house.”

Explaining the changing relationships between society and families, Manoj elaborated, 

“Now all of us brothers and sisters have a little formal relationship where we meet once in a while in Delhi over dinner. Everyone has become so busy with their work that no one has time for anyone, but as a family, we have been trying to meet at least once a month when I am in Delhi over dinner or lunch."
