Manish Arora parts ways with Paco Rabanne

New Delhi, May 5 (IANS) Indian designer Manish Arora's year-long association as creative director of French fashion house Paco Rabanne has ended.

Confirming the development, Arora told IANS: "Yes, I am no longer associated with Paco Rabanne but the journey has been amazing. The contract was for one year and I finished a year."

The fashion house, which launched a women's ready-to-wear line last year, has successfully ended the contract by mutual agreement.

Arora, known for his use of psychedelic colours and eye-catching prints, presented a collection for Paco Rabanne in March.

His first creation for the fashion house was unveiled in September last year.

Arora recently showcased his work in Paris, and is now back in the capital.

Renewing his contract with Paco Rabanne is not on his mind.

"I am not planning to continue with the brand for the moment because I am busy with my own shows. I am doing two shows in one week in Paris. So for the moment, I am just doing shows," he added.
