Malaika Arora reveals her new tattoo

Malaika Arora gave her fans a peek into her week, showcasing a mix of self-care and style on Instagram. The highlight was a new tattoo on her arm, featuring the words "Sabr, Shukr" (Patience, Gratitude).

This tattoo reflects her resilience and strength after a challenging year. Last year, she navigated a high-profile split from actor Arjun Kapoor and the loss of her father, Anil Mehta.

Malaika Arora's Instagram carousel offered a glimpse into her glamorous week. She kicked things off with a stunning mirror selfie, followed by photos from the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI event, where she wore a dazzling black crystal-encrusted romper by Namrata Joshipura.

The carousel continued with a close-up of her new tattoo, a reminder of her strength and resilience. A photo of her healthy breakfast, featuring a fried egg, toast, blueberries, and pomegranates, showcased her focus on well-being. The final slide featured a screenshot of Ed Sheeran's "Photograph" song, hinting at a moment of musical inspiration.

Yes, it is important to be soft and kind in the world, but it is essential we also know when to draw swords. When to fight tooth and claw for what we believe in and love. To strike a balance between the shadow in our heart and the light. As the nature of the rose is both flower and thorn, the complete human soul is both devil and God

In a recent conversation with The Times of India, Malaika opened up about her new tattoo and said, “I don’t get them just for the sake of it, they have deep personal meaning. This particular one symbolises the year that 2024 has been for me. The words ‘patience’ (sabr) and ‘gratitude’ (shukr) are very comforting. These words resonate with me when I think about where I am now, compared to where I was just a year ago."

Malaika also shared, “I see tattoos as symbols of memories and thoughts I want to carry with me forever."
