Manasi's play invited to Gujarat by Chief Minister Narendra Modi

The actress says she will return to television once she bags an interesting role.

Manasi ParekhMaro Piyu Gayo Rangoon, starring Manasi Parekh Gohil in the lead, is getting rave reviews.  The play has already set a new benchmark as it received a standing ovation at Globe Theatre in London.  The latest buzz is that Narendra Modi and the Gujarat Government  have invited the play to Ahemdabad because of the great reviews the play has received.

This play is an Indian adaptation of William Shakespeare's All's Well that Ends Well. Renowned TV and theatre writer Mihir Bhuta has penned this Indian adaptation which is set in a Gujarati village. On her character Helena, Manasi says, "She is a grey character. She is in a one-sided love with a guy. She however won't take 'no' for an answer."

So when will we see Manasi on television again? She replies, "As soon as I get an exciting role- a role which is both creative and massy. I am open to doing both fiction and non-fiction shows. I would love to anchor a reality show. However I wouldn't want to participate in Bigg Boss or Fear Factor. I am not apt for these kind of shows. I am not a Fear Factor person. Also I'd be a very boring inmate in the Bigg Boss house."
