Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars, has once again landed in a dangerous situation. On Monday, an unknown person sent a threatening message through WhatsApp to the Mumbai Transport Department in Worli. According to sources, the message had a clear warning that the actor would be killed inside his Mumbai home. Not just that, it also mentioned a possible car bomb attack.

After receiving this serious message, Worli Police registered a case against the unknown sender. Officials are now working hard to track down the origin of the message and confirm if the threat is real or just a scare.

Now, in a fresh update, it has come to light that a 26-year-old man from Vadodara, Gujarat, may be behind the threat. The man has been identified as Mayank Pandya. His family has informed the police that his mental condition is not stable. “He has been undergoing treatment since 2014,” a source close to the family said. Mayank is expected to reach Mumbai soon to give his statement to the authorities.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has faced threats to his life. For the past few years, he has been the target of several death threats. Many of these have been linked to the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang reportedly has issues with Salman Khan because of his alleged role in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

The threats got even more serious in April 2024, when two bikers opened fire outside Salman’s residence, Galaxy Apartment, in Bandra. The attackers ran away but were caught later in Gujarat. Police later confirmed that this attack was planned by the Bishnoi gang.

The gang also made strange demands — they asked the actor to either visit a temple, say sorry publicly for the blackbuck case, or pay Rs 5 crore. Back in October 2023, there was another ransom threat asking for Rs 2 crore. And in 2023, a chilling email, allegedly from gangster Goldy Brar, added more tension. These constant threats show how serious the situation is. Fans and the film industry are hoping for stronger security around the actor to keep him safe from further harm.
