Makers of ’Govinda Naam Mera’ to reschedule the release to avoid clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Prithviraj’

The makers of Akshay Kumar's 'Prithviraj' have announced a new release date, which puts the period drama in direct competition with Vicky Kaushal's 'Govinda Naam Mera' on June 10, 2022. 

As per reports, the makers of 'Govinda Naam Mera’, have chosen to reschedule the Vicky Kaushal starrer's release date. According to the reports, they have a strong relationship with the makers of 'Prithviraj,' and the latter was interested on this date, so they opted to reschedule the release of 'Govinda Naam Mera.' The new release date is yet to be determined but it is likely to be revealed soon. 

Aside from these two films, on June 10th, the Hollywood feature 'Jurassic World Dominion' will release. Even if 'Govinda Naam Mera' is no longer in the running, 'Jurassic World Dominion' will still face off at the box office. 

'Govinda Naam Mera,' stars Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani in the key roles. And the lead parts in 'Prithviraj' are played by Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar.
