For some fans, just the mere presence of their favourite celebrities can be the greatest gift of all, especially for fans who are faced with serious medical conditions.

Meeting your favourite star is always an emotional experience for these struggling fans as this is one of the greatest moments of their entire lives. There are laughs, tears and smiles bigger than these famous people have ever seen from fanatics before. And today will be a momentous day for some medically ill fans as the Balika Vadhu (Colors) actress plans to spend the day with the cancer patients of an NGO.

Now that's a pretty humble gesture but while Mahhi took up to a social media site to express how elated she is to spend time with them, we found her status a little absurd!

Mahhi posted:

Honestly, we too would be happy to spend time with kids but wouldn't really be excited for kids who are afflicted with cancer. We do not doubt her intent but the lady seems to have made a poor choice of words!

Celebrities are often to negative light for giving away a wrong impression of their thoughts...but a carefully-phrased status or a response would clear their noble intentions!

When we contacted Mahhi to get clarity over the same, she said, "It really does not matter till the time my intentions are not inclined towards it. I don't mean the statement in a wrong way and it is a noble cause what I am doing. As long as the kids are happy and I am happy, I do not think anything else should matter!"

Mahi Vij should have chosen better words. "Super excited", "selfies" etc when doing something like this looks weird. I am sure she didn't mean it. It was just a dumb statement. yet when one is a celeb, they need to choose their words carefully as they are under constant scrutiny.

Dear post maker,

I think it's getting a little exaggerated, pulling meanings out of nothing... You, we and all others understood the intent... How does it matter how the words are framed, when we understand the intentions...
And it's not necessary to always associate gloom and sadly expressed words with cancer patients... Sometimes it's ok to be happy around them, it makes them happy as well at the expression of happiness...
