Madhuri Dixit to be the first guest of 'Comedy Nights Live!'

The upcoming show, 'Comedy Nights Live' is set to launch with a lot of expectations riding on it as it is replacing a cult show, 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'.

The new show is set to be hosted by ace comedians, Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh and other comedians will follow them in gags and acts. The makers seem to be leaving no stone unturned as they are set to start their first episode with a bang where actress Madhuri Dixit Nene will be appearing as a guest.

We contacted Bharti Singh, who shared with us, "It was amazing, where we did not even realise that we shot for long hours. Madhuri mam is so supportive and positive that it got us privileged and happy. She exclaimed how funny the whole show and she laughed so much that her jaw started paining."

On being asked about Ekta Kapoor being a part of the promo, "She just shot for the promo of the show and won't be a part of the episode. It was in the context that no show on television can commence without Ekta Kapoor's ashirwaad (blessings) (laughs).

The actress was asked about the pressure riding about replacing Kapil Sharma's show, to which she said, "Absolutely, Kapil bhai has set a standard and is an amazing comedian. So we can put our best to try to match that standard and get the audience tickling the same way. The set is same, the format is pretty much the same, but hopefully we will do justice to the hopes. There will be times we will or will not have a celebrity coming in and will have an act-dominated episode".
