Lovey Sasan on resuming work after having second baby

Actor Lovey Sasan became a household name several years ago where she was a part of Saath Nibhana Saathiya. However, post her stint in the show, Sasan went on switch gears and turn into familyhood where she got married and then gave birth to her first child.

Sasan first gave birth to a baby boy, Royce last year after she got married back in February 2019. First talking about her second pregnancy now in an interview with ETimes TV, Sasan said, “We did not want a big gap between the two children. We wanted both our kids to grow up together, so that I could also focus on getting back to work. The last three years have been like a dream come true and we feel blessed. It is a great feeling to become a mother and we feel grateful about welcoming another child soon.”

Talking about living in Bengaluru and resuming work, Sasan said, “I live in a great city and love the weather here. The cost of living is slightly lower than Mumbai, too. Having said that, I miss Mumbai and my work a lot. In fact, after I got married, I kept getting good offers, but could not accept them. Then I had my baby and was on maternity break. Now, I hope to resume work after having my second baby. I got interesting offers in the last two years, including reality shows such as Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss. However, for now, I am on a break.”

She added, “I am also taking a lot of precautions due to the pandemic. If the COVID-19 situation improves, I would love to come back to Mumbai. I miss shooting, the fast-paced life of Mumbai and my work. In showbiz, it is important to keep doing interesting projects because then the makers know that we actors are keen on working. Things have changed a lot for actresses now and post my maternity break, I want to do roles that will help me grow as an actor.”
