When Shahid Kapoor took #BharatBandh bit seriously!

The trade unions all over India has gone on strike and called for #BharatBandh. The reason behind this strike is hike in pay for the laborers and also to protest against Prime minister Modi's unilateral labour reforms, policies and idea of shutting down the loss making firms!

But this has nothing to do with Bollywood industry, except Shahid Kapoor! We guess Shahid took the #BharatBandh protest bit literally.

Shahid Kapoor has been delivering hits one after another! Now, he will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's another magnum opus Padmavati. He will be seen essaying character of Raja Raval Ratan, Padmavati's husband. It is supposed to be the second lead role of the film.

According to the reports in a popular daily, Shahid asked SLB to make his role worthy and powerful just like Ranveer Singh. But now he also wants HIKE in his pay! And this is why we guess Shahid took the #Bandh seriously!

A source was quoted saying,"Shahid will be paid around 8-10 crore for Padmavati which is the highest he has got till date. Usually, Shahid gets paid around 6-7 crore, but for this film he is getting a higher amount and the reason behind it is that he is playing the second lead. Also, there was no other actor who was ready to play the role of Raja Raval Ratan Singh and SLB was left with no option but to pay this huge amount to Sasha." (sic)

Or else Shahid might go on strike! (Just Kidding)
