Helmed by Ekta Kapoor, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was quite a surprise package for television viewers back in 2013 when it started and now six years later as the show has ended we feel it will be missed and how!
Divyanka who had done many shows before YHM, was indeed like a breath of fresh air when she was spotted in the avatar of Ishita, a sweet docile South Indian neighbour of Raman Bhalla. Divyanka’s get up as Ishita included simple salwaar kameezes, dainty jewellery and pulled back hairstyle.
However one thing that remained quite a constant through many seasons was Ishita’s halfdo. Whether Ishita sported open hair or a tied up bun, every once in a while she came back to her classic half-up-half-down hair. It just went on to becoming Ishita's classic style. Here’s taking a look at different variations of her hairstyle.
First up is this centre parted halfdo with braids. Sleek straight hair finished by creating a neat centre parting and braids on both sides.
Next up is a more subtle take on the halfdo. Centre parting with twisted and pinned back hair along with a slightly elevated crown.
The signature Ishita hairstyle. A subtle version of behive, finished with straight hair.
A bit of a rad take on the halfdo. Elevated crown, knotted braids, finished with sleek straight hair.
Moving away from straight hair, we have the leading lady of YHM sporting messy manes, nicely pinned at back.
Ishita's most preferred hairstyle, halfdo is popular on our style desk and so are her creative hairdos. Here's to checking out this flower adorned braided hairstyle as sported by Ishita.
Ishita experimented with highdos as well. As nice as how lowdos looked on her, so did a neatly tied up bun with raised up crown.
Here it is where it all started back in 2013. Divyanka Tripathi in her simple salwaar kameez clad avatar, minimal makeup and half pinned hair.
