Star Parivar in December 2011, decided to
revamp Star One in a big way. Star One metamorphosed into
Life OK, initially a
channel which was to reach the smaller towns of India and have crisper shows
with shorter advertisement breaks to run seven days a week. The channel went
through ups and downs and very recently celebrated its first birthday.

Tejasvi Welingker who plays Rashmi in
26-12: I am
really happy that
Life OK has completed one successful year. I think the
channel has amazing shows and is doing just great. In the coming years I expect
the channel to do even better. I am thoroughly enjoying working with
Life OK.
It's a great experience being a part of Star Parivar, it's like one big family.
The channel people are very sweet and guide me very well.
Mouni Roy who plays Meera in
Junoon - Aisi Nafrat, toh Kaisa Ishq: It's been quite a roller coaster journey for the channel but
mostly on the positive side. I feel that
Life OK has a great future ahead. I
have worked mostly with Star Parivar and
Life OK is their baby channel. It's
been great to work with the channel as I quite know the people who work there.
Rajan Shahi (producer of
Amrit Manthan on
Life OK): It has been great to be associated with
Life OK as a part of the Amrit
Manthan team. My heartiest congratulations to the channel. The birth of a
new channel and successfully sustaining it is quite an achievement in itself.
It is like nurturing a baby and going through all the teething problems. It's
been a great experience to work with a channel which supports innovative
thoughts and new ideas. I wish that the channel has many more successful years
to come.
Madhura Naik (plays Shikha Yashvardhan in Hum Ne Li Hai...Shapath):
It was a pleasure working with
Life OK in one of their first chunk of projects
that were launched along with the channel. I wish them all the very best for
the coming years and hope they rock harder than they did this year. Whoop whoop
to TV.
India-forums.com wishes
Life OK a very happy
birthday and many more successful years to come. Keep watching this space for
more interesting updates on the channel.
