Lawyer reveals Rhea Chakraborty was struck off from the list of attendees for Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral

Post Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide, there has been a constant debate on whether it really was suicide or not. While multiple arguments continue to come out, ever since his father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, she too has constantly been under the scanner. In fact, while the FIR was filed in Patna, the actress' lawyer Satish Maneshinde has appealed for its transfer to Mumbai. And now, the lawyer has revealed some additional details about what went through on the funeral, among other things.

While talking to ANI, Maneshinde said, "Rhea Chakraborty has always been living in Mumbai. She was in Mumbai on 14th June 2020. She was not allowed to attend the funeral of Sushant Singh as her name was stuck off from the list of 20.” 

He further went on to highlight how she has appeared at the police station and recorded statements when asked. He said, "She was summoned by Mumbai Police on 18th of June 2020 at Bandra Police Station. Her statement was recorded there. Subsequently she was summoned to appear on 17th July 2020 at Santacruz Police station. She appeared and recorded her supplementary statement."

About her plea to SC to transfer the case, a hearing is reportedly scheduled for August 5. However, Singh's family soon filed a caveat in SC, urging them against the hearing. Meanwhile, Rhea was reportedly seen leaving her house with suitcases post-midnight, and during his statement, Mumbai Police Commissioner stated how he knows nothing about her whereabouts.
