Laksh Lalwani drops his surname!

Actor Laksh Lalwani, who was last seen in the show Adhuri Kahani Hamari has decided to drop his surname and will be known as just Laksh henceforth. The actor has an ideology in which a person's surname is a very secondary thing and doesn't affect his career or well-being in any way.

The actor has dropped his last name on screen and is soon planning to make it official. In conversation with a major media firm, the actor said that no one had suggested him to drop his surname. He also said that there is no sort of numerology or astrology involved in his decision as he believes that destiny and hard work are the things that take a man ahead in life and that this is an ideology, that attracted him.

The actor also feels that surnames are not important as they promote differentiation of caste and creed and people judge other people by their surname. He feels that the surname philosophy works against the motto of unity in diversity.

After Adhuri Kahani Hamari, Laksh will soon be seen in Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show based on the film Pardes. Laksh will be seen along with Shaleen Malhotra and Drashti Dhami in the show.
