They are mothers, sisters, aunts, wives, girlfriends and many more but before they play a particular role, they are women. Their confidence, their intelligence and their presence are the mighty pillars behind the success of many tinsel town's actors and actresses. On the month that celebrated womanhood, BollyCurry brings to you a good read on the influential women in the lives of our beloved B-Wood celebs.

Gauri Khan, Sussanne K Roshan, Kajol Devgn, Twinkle Jatin Khanna, Mehr Rampal, Jaya Bachchan and Avantika Malik are all great examples of such ladies. These are the queens, envied by many, that rule the hearts of their respective husbands. They're beautiful, talented and they have managed to carve out their own identities despite having such famous spouses.


Mothers also play a big role. Salman Khan is one of the highest paid actor in tinsel town and the man gives only one women the credit for his success. That is his mother, Salma Khan, who he regards with much love and respect. He considers her to be the reason for his fame and the continuous blockbuster hits he gives the audience.


 Proceeding with that, we have a mother that takes the credit for her son's success herself. Neetu Singh, mother of Ranbir Kapoor, claims that Ranbir does not just get his acting genes from the Kapoor's but also from her own family, the Singh family!




The wife of actor-director Farhan Akhtar, Adhuna Akhtar, is also one of the many commendable ladies. She is not only a supporting wife and a loving mother of two children but also one of the leading hairstylists of the country. She has also been the one to have given Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna their original looks in Akhtar's movie, Dil Chahta Hai.


Among the newcomers, there is no way that we miss out on Ayushmann Khurrana who tied the knot with his long time girlfriend, Tahira Kashyap, in November 2011. Kashyap is considered a very multi-talented lady considering that she is a writer, a lecturer and also works in a radio station. Along with that, she also played an important role in Ayushmann's controversial debut movie, Vicky Donor, last year.


Now coming to the most beautiful woman, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who gives all the credit, and esteem, for her fame to her mother, Vrinda. Her mother has remained Aishwarya's backbone till date and has taught her to be who she is today. To continue that and pass on those very values, Aishwarya is the mother of a little Aaradhya and is married happily to Junior Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan.


Although the saying is that "behind every successful man there is a woman", we think that it can easily be changed to "behind every successful human being, there is a woman"! Women have always been an inspiration to other women and our B-Town Celebs are no exception.
