Kunwar Amar: I could write a book on the struggle I faced

While he might be a household name now, actor Kunwar Amar says that he has gone through his share of struggles to make it to this point. He says that starting off is always the toughest, but you need to keep pushing forward.

“Coming from a middle-class family and small town, choosing dance as a career is always a difficult road. But I think with any artist, there is divine energy that pushes them to face all the hurdles and keep moving toward their goal. I have faced a lot of things in my life before becoming a public figure. I can write a book about what I have faced. But the key is to believe in yourself and your dream and keep going,” he says.

Ask him for tips that he would like to give newcomers who are in their struggling years, and he says, “I would just say, be honest with yourself. Don’t try to be like anyone else. Work on your craft and keep hustling because success is not easy. But the most important thing is to be honest to yourself.”
