Kunal Kemmu's wife Soha Ali Khan unleashes her 'Unique Way of Slapping'

Kunal Kemmu's directorial venture, "Madgaon Express," hit theaters on March 22 to a mix of applause and critique. The film, starring Avinash Tiwari, Pratik Gandhi, Divyendu, and Nora Fatehi, explores the journey of three friends on their maiden trip to Goa. In a recent interview, Kunal opened up about his wife Soha Ali Khan's candid reaction to the film, revealing her unique 'way of slapping' him.

Speaking to News18 Showsha, Kunal shared Soha's initial feedback upon viewing parts of the film. While she offered positive remarks, Kunal acknowledged her penchant for brutal honesty. He admitted that while her critiques could be harsh, he also sensed an underlying encouragement in her words.

Despite the candid feedback, Kunal expressed gratitude for Soha's unwavering support throughout the project. 

In addition to this, Kunal revealed that during his debut, Soha’s words supplemented him with immense encouragement and re-instilled his faith in his film. “She knew that I was carrying a big burden, and I was both excited and nervous about it. But I believe in myself too and, so, I know that what she feels isn’t completely wrong. Madgaon Express was in the right space. I was proud and happy with what I had made,” said Kunal.

For the unversed, Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan's professional collaboration dates back to films like "Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge" and "99," released in 2009. Their partnership, both on and off-screen, continues to be a testament to their mutual respect and shared commitment to their craft.
