#KuchBhi: This week's ridiculously comical expressions of aggression!

From 'Sasural Simar Ka' to 'Zindagi Ki Mehek', we've got the puzzling scenes covered.. let us explain!

*Disclaimer: The following content is a light reflection that leaves out any scope for critique. We are strictly talking puzzling moments that may come as a shock to the viewers.

This week we had some interesting cases of havoc wrecked in the name of tantrums, anger fits and pure hatefulness! There are times when evil ploys work out and then there are scenes where they can go terribly wrong. We have had a good dose of scenes that go on to prove that anger and melodrama do not care for logical outputs. Around this time we saw a lot of characters go bold and rogue. And, it comes with comical expressions in tow!

Our favourite shows have a way of reminding us time and again that there can be no drama without a kuch bhi moment. Here's how the scenes played out this week-

When you specifically asked for strawberry cake but they still got you chocolate!

Some people can get really picky about their birthday cakes. The celebratory mood on 'Sasural Simar Ka' was almost dampened when Piyush (Varun Sharma) did not look too pleased with the arrangements made by Roshni (Nikki Sharma). Roshni took no notice of the rage in Piyush's eyes as he glared at her. Next thing we know, he grits his teeth, pulls the cake off the table and slams it on her face! This scene has only two possible explanations - one being that there was a clash in cake choices and the other being a commitment to birthday fun that involves cake on the face.

We can easily imagine him mouth - "I may be on a psychotic spell but the birthday tradition goes nowhere!" Also, if we were Roshni we wouldn't go check with him post his tantrum, he's turning into a werewolf. (read: let's see them getting him the wrong cake now!)

This deadly bullet...that has a mind of it's own in 'Ishqbaaaz'

In a series of hate crimes, Kamini, our newest villain decides to take matters in her own hand and shoot down the eldest Oberoi brother. There are a number of things wrong with this scene- (1) Anika (Surbhi Chandna), predicting the move, runs towards Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) in the same direction the bullet is shot in (meaning her sprint was parallel to the bullet and she was faster) (2) She runs in slow motion, just like the bullet and manages to reach in time to shield Shivaay (3) The bullet wound (which is computerized) having faculty of its own, shifts from her shoulder to the necklace! Shoddy much?

Here's a closer look at the bullet. Apart from being an independent entity who makes its own decisions, it also comes in a package reminiscent of the chocolate shots you had as a child. Sparkly!

This lesson on direction in 'Zindagi Ki Mehek'

Shaurya does make a loud noise of his affections and creates quite a public debacle of his declarations. In a recent set of events, he planted himself outside Mehek's home and got a tattoo of her name. (We're really trying not to judge him). Meanwhile, some puzzling drama was brewing inside the house -

Love has a way of knocking you off your feet. But, if you're not careful, you'll fall a lot harder. 'Zindagi Ki Mehek' had some intense drama that lead to Mehek (Samiksha Jaiswal) running to the aide of Shaurya (Karan Vohra). We have no problems with the fact that she crossed a lakshman rekha (courtesy: Kanta chachi) drawn to keep her away from Shaurya while nobody batted an eyelash about it. But, her sprint down the stairs had no excuse! She ran down straight and somehow managed to dash against the wall on the side which wasn't even in her way. Predictably, she went on to cut her heel on shards of glass and this added to running and crying melodrama.
