Imagine telling your parents that you prefer a live-in relationship to a traditional marriage. While a few progressive minds may support your decision, the majority of Indian parents will be shocked and in disbelief.
Celebrities share this sentiment. For example, when asked if she would choose a live-in relationship during a panel discussion, actress Kriti Sanon admitted that her mother would not accept it.
In the 2019 film 'Luka Chhupi,' Kriti played the character Rashmi, who was in a live-in relationship with Vinod (Kartik Aaryan). In reality, however, the popular actor cannot be in a live-in relationship because her parents will not approve.
However, she insists that if she is in a relationship in the future, she will first test the seriousness of the relationship before marrying.
When asked if she has ever faced a situation similar to the one she faced in the film 'Hum Do Hamare Do,' in which Rajkummar Rao's character lied to her, Kriti stated that she always believes in the good. She believes that if she is not lying, then neither is the other person.
Meanwhile, following the success of her previous film, 'Mimi,' Kriti will next be seen in 'Adipurush,' which also stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, and 'Ganapath,' which co-stars Tiger Shroff. Aside from these two, she has 'Bhediya' with Varun Dhawan, 'Shehzada' with Kartik Aaryan, and 'Bachchan Pandey' with Akshay Kumar.
