Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchan Pandey has been making it to the headlines ever since the announcement of the film. The two were last seen in Housefull 4 and fans have been excited to see them collaborate once again.
During a recent interaction, Kriti shared her experience of working with Akshay again in a chat with ETimes and revealed how the actor made being on the sets of Bachchchan Pandey 'fun.' Kriti also revealed how everyone seemed like one big family.
The duo was shooting in Jaisalmer for 45-days and Kriti revealed that they had a lot of fun together. She also recalled how Akshay ensured everyone had meals together. Furthermore, she revealed that the entire Bachchan Pandey crew played games like housie and ludo during their break time.
"He is someone who’s always fun to be with on the set. This time around, the entire team was in Jaisalmer, shooting together for 45 days. With him at work, you tend to have lunches, dinners, basically all meals together. It’s like a lot of people on one table. It became like one big family. During breaks, we used to play games like housie and ludo", Kriti told ETimes as she spoke about Akshay Kumar.
Bachchan Panday is helmed by Farhad Samji and also stars Arshad Warsi, Pratiek Babbar and others. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will release on January 26, 2022.
The film’s shoot continued till February 22 and Kriti wrapped up her portions of the shooting schedule back then. After completing the shoot of her portions, the Luka Chuppi actress penned a sweet note for the cast and crew of Bachchan Pandey and shared a photo from the film with Akshay.
In her recent Instagram post, Kriti Sanon applauded the people who have been striving to help others and mentioned: “what breaks us somewhere also unites us.” She maintained that it's worth noticing how a person’s social status doesn't matter anymore and said, “it doesn't matter what your caste is, what your religion is, whether you are rich or poor, nothing matters.” She also pointed out that we are just human beings who are trying to end each other's suffering.
