Deepika Padukone has been trending throughout the day with reports emerging that she has been roped in for King. It seems the actress will play the role of Suhana Khan’s mother in an extended cameo. While fans love the Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone pairing, not many very happy to know that she would be mom to Suhana Khan, even if the character dies at an early stage of the movie. Now, Siddharth Anand has posted False on X. Many assume that he is debunking this news that he has cast Deepika Padukone once again after Pathaan and Fighter. While Pathaan made close to Rs 1,500 crores worldwide, Fighter managed Rs 300 crores with lukewarm audience response.

The box office record of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is impeccable. They have delivered hits like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan and Jawan.
