King: Raghav Juyal boards Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan in Siddharth Anand’s action thriller

Filmmaker Siddharth Anand’s much-anticipated action film King is steadily coming together, both on paper and on set. The shoot officially began on May 21, with Suhana Khan stepping into her role, followed by Shah Rukh Khan joining the schedule. The father-daughter duo’s scenes marked the opening phase of this high-octane project.

In a recent update, King has expanded its ensemble. Actor-dancer Raghav Juyal, who made a strong impression with his role in the action film Kill, has now been roped in for a key role in King. According to a report by Pinkvilla, a source close to the project said, “The casting of King is done to perfection, as the makers have roped in credible and well-known actors for every single character. The entire cast has been locked after multiple rounds of discussions, and every actor is more than ecstatic to come on board the Shah Rukh Khan film.”

Veteran actor Saurabh Shukla has also joined the project in a pivotal role. The same source shared that Shukla has already started filming in Mumbai, alongside SRK and Suhana Khan. His presence further strengthens the already impressive lineup.

The film features an ensemble that includes Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma. With such names attached, King seems poised to become one of the most significant Bollywood releases in recent years.

Raghav Juyal’s collaboration with the Khan family doesn’t end here. He also stars in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Bads of Bollywood, which is set to premiere on Netflix this June. His involvement in both projects has raised curiosity about his growing presence in major Bollywood ventures.

As filming progresses, industry watchers are keenly observing how King unfolds both on-screen and behind the scenes. Meanwhile, speculations continue about the scale and storyline of the film, especially with Anand’s past track record of delivering action-heavy blockbusters like Pathaan and War setting high expectations for this ambitious project.
