Khusboo fails but Pehlaj succeeds in finding stench

Once in childhood I was described about how ‘a drowning man will clutch to a straw’. Though the meaning was then described quite vividly to me, it’s only now after watching Pehlaj Nihalani, that I can understand the exact meaning.

Starting his filmy career in early 80’s film maker Pahlaj Nihalani has contributed a lot to Indian film industry. But the veteran has somehow forgotten that the B-town does not run on history but it demands for the glitzy present only. Pehlaj’s recent fruitless release Khusboo is enough to teach such a lesson but Pehlaj’s dil hai ki maanta hi nehi.

Thus the guy is getting more and more firm and rigid on his concept of getting a dreamy return from his film Khusboo. Now, no one can help the guy who prefers to break the mirror even before understanding his own look. The same things are happening to Pehlaj who, instead of watching his film carefully, likes to blame the people and even the theaters in which the film has been running.

“Critics have damaged the prospects of the film miserably. Reviews never make a film Hit or Flop. I had not shown the film to anyone before release, then how come they take a call if the movie is good or bad. So by giving poor shows, the multiplexes want to monopolize and finish off single producers like us. But I won’t let that happen,” fumes Pehlaj Nihalani.

Well, that’s true Mr. Nihalani, Khusboo failing at the box office must be a whole game of conspiracy among various houses. But what about the audience who even doesn’t try to have a peep into the theaters showing the film! Doesn’t your blame-game has little similarity with that of a failed government who intentionally blames opponents for its failures? Guess how the producer will react to this quiz! Another stinking conspiracy from the media this time.
