Kelly Clarkson's son Remy delivers show-stopping performance of "My Way" on her talk show

Kelly Clarkson’s 8-year-old son, Remington "Remy" Alexander, left audiences in awe with his impressive vocal talent during a taping of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Remy stole the spotlight with a stunning rendition of Frank Sinatra’s classic "My Way," showing off his musical chops and perhaps hinting at a future career in music, much like his famous mom.

During the November 26 episode, Clarkson shared a special moment with her children, Remy and his sister River Rose, who were in the audience for the taping. Before the show began, Remy surprised everyone by taking the stage.

“Before the show, Remy decided to warm up the crowd with his version of the Sinatra classic ‘My Way,’” Clarkson told viewers. A clip from the taping revealed the 8-year-old confidently belting out the song, backed by the show's band. River was seen cheering her brother on from her seat, even singing along to the performance.

Clarkson, clearly proud of her son, shared a humorous moment about Remy’s confidence. "He just walked right in today and said, ‘Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?’ I said, ‘Okay, sir!’" she laughed.

The proud mom expressed her love for her children, calling them "so fun" and emphasizing how much it meant to her to share such moments with them, especially with both of her kids present at the taping that day.

This isn't the first time Clarkson’s children have made appearances in the spotlight. Earlier this year, in August 2023, River and Remy joined their mom onstage during her Las Vegas residency. River performed a duet with Clarkson on the hit song "Heartbeat Song," while Remy energetically danced alongside her during the upbeat "Whole Lotta Woman."

Clarkson shares her children with her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, and has often spoken about how much they inspire her. Reflecting on their Las Vegas performance, she told PEOPLE, “It was their idea to get onstage, not mine. They were a little nervous, but it was so magical to see them so happy and comfortable. They were just in awe.”
