Kayamath, Kasturi and Karam... to conclude

The year 2008 saw Balaji Telefilms taking their long-running shows Kasautii Zindagi Ki, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to a climax. And now, the news doing rounds is that few more of their shows are tipped to wind up in the New Year!!

According to our source from the production house, “Kayamath will end on February 28th 2009. This is the news given to us as of now”.

We called up Panchi Bora, the protagonist of Kayamath who confirmed the same. “Yes, I have also been informed of the same. Let’s see what happens next”.

If sources are to be believed, Karam Apnaa Apnaa which is placed at the afternoon band as well as Kasturi which was recently moved from prime time slot to a weekend slot might also bid adieu sometime in March 2009.

"Yes the show is going off air, but the date is not yet decided. As per my knowledge, it should end in February or March. Currently we shoot for only 10-12 days as the bank is ready," says Shubhangi aka Kasturi.

All our attempts to get a comment on the same from Anupama Mandloi, Senior Creative Director, Star Plus and Keertan Adhyantaya, General Manager, EVP, Star Plus were in vain, as they were unavailable.

Let’s wait and watch when the plugs will exactly be pulled off these popular shows!!
