Katrina Kaif to soon join twitter!

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif who kept away from the social media had surprised her fans and followers by making her first presence on social media with Facebook. Soon after joining Facebook, the actress had received a massive number of followers.

Now here's one such good news for her fans. The actress will soon step on to twitter as well. In a conversation with the press the actress revealed about this news. She also shared the reason why she felt to make her presence on the social media.

She said, "Because I believe that you need to have a platform for your own voice and also that you can directly speak to your own audience. Otherwise what happens is what's going out about you is what the media have decided which is print worthy or news worthy. I was feeling that I should have a place where if I feel something or even if its an incident I can share it directly with the audience". 

When asked about twitter she says, "Twitter is in the plan, in the agenda but I don't know when. Twitter is more instant for your reactions whereas facebook is more of a reflection to your personality".

Well, Katrina seems to have now understood the importance of social media. Also, with so many news and reports about her in the media, social platforms would surely stand as a platform for clarifications and truthfulness to different stories being made about her.
