Kartik Aaryan to attend a private event of Cancer Survivors and fighters

February is National Cancer Prevention Month, and Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is set to attend a private event today to honour survivors and their fighting spirit. 

According to reports in a portal, "When it comes to increasing cancer awareness, Kartik has been a trailblazer. Kartik wanted to engage with and pay tribute to cancer patients and fighters because it is National Cancer Awareness Month." 

Kartik's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago, which is what sparked his interest in the topic. The actor has spoken openly about his mother's battle with breast cancer and his support for her during difficult times. 

The actor, who is now enjoying some time off the film sets, will feature next in Anees Bazmee's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', co-starring Kiara Advani and Tabu. The film is set to release in May 2022. He'll also appear in Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', which will be remade in Hindi. While the film has yet to start into production, there are rumours that it will be released in November. 

He also has 'Shehzada', 'Captain India' and 'Freddy', besides Sajid Nadiadwala's unnamed next in the pipeline.
