Kartik Aaryan on whether he dated a Bollywood actress: Shall I stop going out?

In a new interview, Kartik Aaryan discussed the difficulties of dating another actor and addressed rumours that infidelity is common in the film industry. Kartik stated that the most important aspect of a relationship for him is mutual respect.' 

Kartik admitted to dating within the film industry on YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, but denied that it changed much about the dynamic that two partners share. 

When asked if it is difficult for two actors to maintain a relationship or if there is rivalry, Kartik replied, "To each his own, it depends... It has nothing to do with this profession, but rather with people... It all comes down to how compatible you are with each other." 

When asked if it's true that infidelity is common in the film industry, Kartik agreed that it is a perception shaped by the media, but that much of it is made up. "If two actors are working together and go out for coffee together, it will be reported that they were spotted together.People will begin to talk. Shall I stop going out? Or shall I look for secret spots? What if two people are meeting just as friends? If four people go out, they’ll publish photos of just two. This happens. And because of this, it seems strange when you’re ‘spotted’ with someone else later, Kartik explained.

Kartik admitted that such gossip can be "messed up," but he understands the audience's desire for it. The actor has avoided serious relationships in the past, but rumours of him dating Janhvi Kapoor circulated a few months ago after they were spotted together in Goa. They were supposed to star in Dostana 2, but Kartik dropped out due to disagreements with Dharma Productions. 

The actor was most recently seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a horror comedy that has performed exceptionally well at the box office. The film has grossed Rs 67 crore in four days and is expected to gross Rs 90 crore by the end of its first week.
