Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela Set Screens on Fire in Anurag Basu’s Romantic Musical, Releasing This Diwali

Kartik Aaryan has treated his fans with a glimpse of his upcoming romantic musical with Sreeleela, directed by Anurag Basu. Fans are thrilled.

Earlier, reports suggested that Kartik Aaryan would reunite with his Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 co-star Triptii Dimri for Anurag Basu’s upcoming film, rumored to be Aashiqui 3. However, it has now been confirmed that Sreeleela will make her Bollywood debut as the female lead. The first glimpse of the film showcases the sizzling chemistry between Kartik and Sreeleela, leaving fans excited.

On Saturday, Kartik shared a video on Instagram, giving a sneak peek into the movie and announcing its release date. In the clip, he appears in a rugged look with long hair and a heavy beard, singing Tu Meri Zindagi Hai in front of a massive audience while strumming his guitar. The video also highlights his romantic moments with Sreeleela, as they ride a bike together and share cosy scenes near a bonfire. Sharing the video, Kartik wrote, "This Diwali ???🔥," hinting at a festive release.

There were speculations that Triptii Dimri was dropped from the film due to her ‘bold image’ in recent projects. Addressing these rumors, Anurag Basu shared his thoughts on them with HT City. He also clarified that Aashiqui 3 was never the confirmed story.

Image was not the reason. I am the last person to judge an actor based on past roles. We haven't even finalized the title yet, and the shoot begins this month.
