Kareena- Karisma SPEAK about Sridevi's SUDDEN Demise

Sridevi's sudden demise shocked the Nation and the whole of Bollywood industry was shattered While Karisma Kapoor was here in Mumbai and even attended Sridevi's prayer meet, Kareena Kapoor was out of town on a family vacation with hubby Saif Ali Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan.

Yesterday, during the India Today Conclave 2018, both Bebo and Lolo shared their childhood stories and even spoke about Sridevi and how the actress was among their favourite Bollywood actors.

Recalling their childhood memories, Karishma said: "Every weekend when we used to go to Chembur to meet our grandparents, by crossing our R.K. Studio, we used to get fascinated seeing how many talented people are there in our family, bringing out some of the fine films. We always wanted to be a part of this journey and contribute to our cinema."

Kareena too added to it and revealed that she was obsessed with actresses Madhuri Dixit and late Sridevi. "I used to perform on their dance numbers in front of the mirror a thousand times as a child. I was like 'I want to go out their and dance on Ek Do Teen why am I inside the room'?"

The sister duo then shared that when they heard about Sridevi's sudden demise they were not able to sulk in the fact that she is no more.

Karisma said: "When we got to know about Sridevi's demise, we were in grief and that was obvious. We idolized that icon for decades and all of a sudden she is no more. I think we all know this for a fact that stardom is not forever, it goes away."

The two were then asked about their favourite movie of Sridevi and they both said it was "Khuda Gawah" and that they watched it together in theatre "eight times".

The Kapoor sisters had also done a special photo-shoot with Sridevi for Vogue a few months back. Five generations of actresses including Sridevi, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had featured on the cover, all of them were styled by ace designer Manisha Malhotra.
