Pregnancy has brought Kareena Kapoor Khan in news more than any of her movies or her controversies so far. Wherever she goes these days, she is asked questions related to her pregnancy and her baby. Something similar took place when she had been to an event yesterday.

During the media interactions, she was quizzed if she wants a boy or a girl?

To this, Kareena replied in such a way that no one would dare ask her again about it. She said: "Wherever I go these days there is just one question asked which I think is quite intrusive but, still I am asked, whether it is a boy or is it a girl? Have you found out? And I am like 'excuse me!' what difference does it make. I am a girl child I would love to have a girl what is the difference. Probably I have done more for my parents than a son would ever do." (sic)

Further, she spoke about the current scenario in India and the perception towards the women of the country. She said, "We are still in a nation where we have been asked about getting married and still going to work? These questions upset me." (sic)

The Begum of Bollywood concluded by expressing about the hardship and joy of motherhood. She stated, "Not just for me or my child but for the millions of children out there. For all those people who think a girl child is considered taboo, a girl is considered not equal enough, not up to a man but you must know a woman is the only soul that has the right to carry a soul in her. It is truly something that is a joy." (sic)

The Ki And Ka actress is expecting her first child in mid December.
