Karan Johar's 'Yodha' starring Sidharth Malhotra gets a new release date: Reports

Bollywood actor, Sidharth Malhotra, and Karan Johar are teaming up once again for the upcoming action thriller, Yodha. This highly anticipated film is set against the backdrop of an airplane hijack and promises to be an edge-of-the-seat ride for audiences.

Directed by Sagar Amre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha follows the story of a protagonist fighting against all odds for a more significant cause. With Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, the film is expected to be another gripping tale of action, adventure, and heroism.

Yodha is currently in its post-production stage, having wrapped up its shooting earlier this year. The film was initially set to release on July 7, 2023, but has now been postponed to a later date. 

According to a report from Pinkvilla, the team wanted to give the film a clear release window without facing competition from other films. The new release date has not been announced yet.

Apart from Sidharth Malhotra, Yodha also stars the stunning Disha Patani and the talented Raashii Khanna in key roles. The film marks the first collaboration between Prime Video & Dharma Productions in association with Mentor Disciple Films. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, Yodha is touted to be a special collaboration between Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra, as they have previously worked together on Student of The Year, Brothers, Hasee Toh Phasee and SherShaah.
