Karan Johar has posted a mysterious message on Instagram, sparking curiosity among fans about his well-being. In his post, he mentioned the idea of never settling for less. This update follows his recent cryptic note regarding 'expectations from people' and feelings of being 'hurt.'
Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to share a note which read, “Rule #1: Never go back to less just because you are too impatient to wait for better.” Just last week, the filmmaker dropped a cryptic note which read, “Remove expectations from people and you’ll remove their power to hurt your feelings.”

Surprisingly, this update comes a month after Karan Johar spilled the beans about his relationship status, revealing that he's been flying solo for quite a while now and isn't on the hunt for a partner anymore. KJo spilled the beans to Faye D'souza, sharing that he has only been in "one and a half relationships" in his whole life. While he was on the lookout for companionship in his 40s, he decided to stop searching for it once he hit the big 5-0.
“I am single and haven’t been in a relationship for a very long time. In fact, I have been in one and a half relationships in my entire life. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy my single status. I don’t think I can change it now. Forget sharing a bathroom or bedroom or your space or schedule, I think the power of your day is with you. Your responsibility is to your children and your mom, that’s about it,” Karan said.
“I did feel the vacuum when I turned 40, but when I turned 50, I felt like I didn’t want it. I am not blocking it, but now I don’t see it happening actively. I have gone through agencies, blind date situations, and met people in the country, and out of the country, now if I find it well and good, I don’t feel the need for it at all,” he added.
Karan, who is currently in Melbourne for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, frequently posts enigmatic messages on his Instagram account. Just last year, the director penned a cryptic open letter addressing an 'exhausted human being' who desired to pay compliments to someone. “Dear exhausted human being… A warning! Each time you compliment someone starting with SO….. You will be expected to end with a WOW,” he wrote.
“This is dangerous and can have repercussions in the future. So please alter your verbal compliments. Love, a disgruntled trend wannabe,” he concluded.
