It isn't even entirely fathomed by many yet that the legend that is Rishi Kapoor passed away a few days ago and it is no secret that the closest people in the equation concerned are Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. And talking about the duo, it is also no secret that the couple's much-awaited and extremely delayed film Brahmastra was finally seeing the light of the day after all this time (December 4th 2020). While the film is seemingly more delayed now owing to the coronavirus lockdown, there were rumors since yesterday that leading stars Kapoor and Bhatt will be taking pay cuts voluntarily to make the project viable.
However, deciding to address these rumors and clear things once and for all, Johar took to his Twitter account just a while ago to inform people to not to rely on any false news until and unless an official statement comes on any official account. He made a humble request to not make any assumptions on the fraternity films. However, after reading his tweet, it makes us wonder if he is hinting towards Brahmastra. Nevertheless, we don’t know if he is actually squashing Brahmastra pay cut reports but he has definitely raised our curiosity.
While sharing the tweet, he wrote, “My hugest request to my media friends not to reach any assumptions on our fraternity films...these are challenging times for the business and false news only makes the situation worse! Please wait for official news on any account!! This is a humble request....”
Well, that certainly clears rumors once and for all.
