Kapoor Family Rings in Christmas with Cozy Celebrations; Kareena, Saif, and Karisma Missing from Festivities

The Kapoor family's annual Christmas lunch, a cherished tradition, saw its 2024 edition filled with warmth and laughter as family members gathered for a festive celebration. Neetu Kapoor and Navya Nanda shared glimpses of the intimate gathering on their Instagram accounts, giving fans a peek into the festivities.

Neetu posted a heartwarming family photo featuring the Kapoor clan with the caption, “Family Christmas celebration.” The picture showed Raha adorably cuddled up to her mother, Alia Bhatt, while her father, Ranbir Kapoor, radiated joy. Agastya Nanda and Navya Nanda were also spotted in the frame alongside Randhir Kapoor and Babita, who took center stage with Neetu.

Navya Nanda also shared the family portrait on her Instagram, adding a snapshot of herself posing with her cousin and aunt, Nitasha Nanda. However, some notable faces were missing from the celebrations this year. Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and their children, Taimur and Jeh, are currently on vacation, while Karisma Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor also seemed to have skipped the gathering.

Earlier on Wednesday afternoon, Ranbir, Alia, and Raha were spotted arriving for the lunch. Raha won hearts by sweetly greeting the paparazzi and even blowing a kiss as the family headed inside.

On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor, who recently appeared in Animal, is filming for two high-profile projects, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War and Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, both slated for 2026 releases. Alia Bhatt, last seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, will co-star with Ranbir in Love and War. She is also working on Shiv Rawail’s Alpha, part of the YRF Spy Universe. Meanwhile, Agastya Nanda, who debuted with Netflix's Archies, is gearing up for his next project, Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis.
