Kapil Sharma speaks about the recent crisis in his life!

Even though the king of Comedy - Kapil Sharma has gone through a lot in the past one week, he gathers his wits and is ready to make everyone laugh again.

25th September came as a black Wednesday for Kapil Sharma as a sudden fire broke out on the sets of his show, Comedy Nights with Kapil Sharma which totally destroyed the sets. Even as Kapil was coming out of the shock, the very next day he had to face an inquiry by the Tax officials for delay in paying his service tax.

Everyone went into an overdrive and rumors were floating around - some saying that it was Kapil's competitors who were behind all this and some mentioned that it to be an IT raid instead of the Service Tax raid.

Even though Kapil was shocked with the twin tragedies, he took it all sportingly and has decided to continue his shoot on the Bigg Boss sets. However, to make things clear he met the media where he got documents to prove that the Service Tax he owed was not such a big amount and that he had been paying it regularly but a chunk was left to be paid and he would be paying that too soon.

So here's Kapil Sharma unplugged -

The fire left me shocked - "On 25th September I was coming back from Kolkata and I landed in Mumbai at around 8:30 in the morning. The same day we were to shoot at 12 noon so I decided to go to the sets at Filmcity directly and take rest before getting ready. While travelling I was checking my Twitter account and saw some tweets about Comedy Nights with Kapil set on fire. However, I thought they were some rumors but when I entered Film City I saw many fire brigades going in... that was the time my heart started beating faster. Finally, when I reached the set I saw it had been ruined to ashes."

I was heartbroken - "Seeing the set completely destroyed, left me heartbroken. I was the only one from the team to be there as no one else was scheduled to come so early. The situation on the set was so terrible that I don't have words to explain it. The tweets that I was reading just few minutes back came true."

The motivation and team spirit made me stand strong - "Thankfully no one from the team was injured and the best part is that my entire team stood strong and was ready to fight the worst. With the grace of god and our team spirit the shoot is not going to stop and there will be no delay in shooting the upcoming episodes. The show will go on. Currently, we are shooting on the Bigg Boss set in Lonavala and we will show it to be Dadi's house for couple of episodes till we shift to our new set."

Every dark cloud has a silver lining' - "By 15th October hopefully our new set will be ready. We have plans to introduce new elements on the set. It will be different than the previous set but yes, it will yet give the same homely feeling. We hope that we get a big floor soon as we don't want to compromise on our set and neither do we want it to look small. We want it to be as grand as it was before."

These are all rubbish rumors - "I know many people are saying that Comedy Circus people are behind all this but it is all rumors. I totally disagree with this type of news. I have worked with them for 6 seasons and I was very happy and they too were very happy. In fact I even got a call from Optimystix's producer Vipul Shah after this tragedy. I am still in touch with the Comedy Circus team and we all are on good terms."

There was no IT raid at my house - "The very next day after the fire on my set there was a news that there was an IT raid at my home which was absolutely false. It was just that I had to pay a service tax of 65 lakhs rupees, out of which I had already paid 30 lakhs. The pending amount was 35 lakhs for which the due date is in October and definitely I will pay it on time."

However, everyone got it wrong - "I was disheartened when I was labelled a criminal. Various news channels were showing the news and I was unnecessarily being targeted for a crime I haven't done. I was shocked and surprised at the same time and so decided to clarify things."

At the end of it all however, Kapil sticks to his positive outlook - "Well as I say on my show too - 'Sar Salamat Toh Pagdi Hazaar'... I will rise again. This is life and such unexpected things do happen to all. However, I hope I don't face such situations again in my life."
