Kalki Koechlin Opens Up About Housing Struggles After Divorce with Anurag Kashyap

Kalki Koechlin has revealed the challenges she faced after her marriage with Anurag Kashyap ended a decade ago. The actor, in an interview on AfterHours with All About Eve YouTube channel, shared how life became difficult personally despite her professional success.

"When me and Anurag had divorced, those two films were out there - Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. Then, there's this divorce," Kalki said, recalling how her flourishing career coincided with troubling personal experiences.

The actor highlighted how renting a house as a single woman became her biggest challenge post-divorce. Kalki and Anurag, who tied the knot in 2011, separated in late 2013 and finalized their divorce in 2015.

Kalki made her film debut with Anurag's Dev.D in 2008, with the two beginning their relationship shortly after. In 2019, she confirmed her pregnancy with Israeli musician Guy Hershberg, and the couple welcomed their daughter in February 2020.

Since her divorce, Kalki has rarely spoken about her personal life. She was last seen in the 2023 Netflix film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan in a supporting role and performed a special dance number in Sam Bahadur.
