Kabir Bedi reveals his fourth marriage wasn't the only reason of his separation with daughter Pooja Bedi

For almost three years, veteran actor Kabir Bedi and his daughter, Pooja Bedi, were estranged. Though a property dispute was rumored to be the cause, neither party confirmed the reason. In a recent interview, Kabir discussed the misunderstandings that led to their separation, while also revealing that they have since reconciled and now share a close bond.

In a podcast interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kabir Bedi addressed the topic of his estrangement from Pooja Bedi. “There are problems in every relationship sometimes. I don’t want to repeat the reasons again. However, there were a few misunderstandings – she did things that upset me, and I must have done things that upset her. Important cheez yeh hai ki 2-3 saal, we were separated because of disagreements. Ab vo khatam hogaye hain," he said.

Kabir added, “Our relationship is going strong now. It’s a good relationship between father and daughter, and I am very proud of all the things she is doing. There’s a lot of love and respect between us." Pooja Bedi is Kabir Bedi and Protima Bedi’s daughter. Kabir Bedi later married Parveen Dusanjh.

When questioned about whether his fourth marriage contributed to the rift with his daughter, he responded, “Whatever the reason, let’s not go into that. Parveen wasn’t the only reason. There were other reasons that divided us, other misunderstandings between father and daughter, which had nothing to do with Parveen. Khushi ki baat yeh hai ki all this is resolved. I love Pooja. I love Parveen. They love being in the same city and meeting on occasion. All is well."

“Acha rishta hai. We have great mutual respect for each other. Parveen has her own career; she is a producer who produced Bad Boy Billionaire for Netflix. She has got various other projects, she is developing. She has her career, Pooja has her own career," he said, while speaking candidly about his relationship with his fourth wife, Parveen Dusanj.

Regarding Kabir Bedi's career, he is set to appear in the reboot of the Italian series Sandokan.
