John Abraham revealed that Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar are two industry figures he deeply values. He takes their opinions seriously, even consulting Karan before his comeback film "Parmanu" after a four-year break. In a recent interview with Filmfare, John discussed his close relationship with Karan Johar.
The other person who I really love, and care about is Karan (Johar). I think he is one of the most wonderful people I have met. I don’t have any work with him in a long time, but he has always been there for me

John Abraham recalled seeking Karan Johar's advice before his comeback film "Parmanu." He shared, "I didn't have a release for four years and, as usual, my obituary was written. I wanted to show 'Parmanu' to someone to get a reaction and I called Karan. I said, 'Just see this film and tell me what you think.' He saw it and advised, 'This is good, this is so not good.'" John added, "There's a lot of criticism around Karan, but I'm his strong supporter. I believe he doesn't deserve that."
John Abraham expressed his eagerness to return to comedy, especially with his frequent collaborator Akshay Kumar. The duo has a history of successful comedies like "Garam Masala," "Desi Boyz," and "Housefull 2." In a recent interview with PTI, John emphasized his desire for comedy that goes beyond mere laughs, aiming for films with substance. He told PTI, "I'm exploring doing something funny. You need to make people laugh and enjoy, not just without any meaning but to get something out of it. For instance, 'Garam Masala' was so special, and films like that make a difference. So, I'm looking out for scripts, I'm looking out to do something funny."
