Mumbai, April 26 (IANS) After its success in theatres worldwide, the Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai starrer 'Jodhaa Akbar' will soon be released on home video.

Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus, which revolves around the early life of Mughal emperor Akbar, will be brought out on DVDs and VCDs by BIG Music & Home Entertainment soon.

Said Kulmeet Makkar, CEO of BIG Music: 'Now we are going to bring it on home video so that cinema lovers can enjoy the larger-than-life experience of this historical saga in their homes. The DVDs and VCDs of the movie will be in the market in a couple of weeks.'

Makkar told IANS that BIG Music had earlier released the music of popular movies like 'Cash', Dhamaal' and 'Johnny Gaddaar'.

'We have also entered the regional market and released the music of 'Kireedam', 'Marudamalai' and 'Kannamuchi Yenada' in Tamil, 'Mitti Wajaan Mardi' in Punjabi and 'Happy Days' in Telugu,' he said.

In the home video segment, Makkar said his firm had signed a deal with Universal Pictures International as an exclusive licensee for India, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.

The company recently launched Universal's blockbuster 'Bourne Ultimatum'. Other international titles in the pipeline are movies like 'American Gangster', 'The Mummy 3' and 'The Hulk 2'.

Makkar said the company's plan was to make Hollywood movies accessible to cinema lovers across India by releasing them in regional languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati and Bengali.
