Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10: Paras Kalnawat reveals being diagnosed with spondylitis & muscle tear in both the knees

Colors’ show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10’ is nearing its finale and the show has become more competitive. Judge Karan Johar shocks everyone this weekend by revealing that not one, but two contestants will bid farewell to India’s favourite celebrity dance reality show. This revelation terrifies the unsafe contestants who were expecting a single elimination. Last weekend, there was a dance-off between ‘Madhuri Ke Rockstars’ and ‘Karan Ke Johars’ and as part of the losing team, Niti Taylor, Rubina Dilaik, Amruta Khanvilkar, Gunjan Sinha & Tejas Verma and Paras Kalnawat were unsafe. 

 Having received the least number of votes, Amruta Khanvilkar and Paras Kalnawat had to say goodbye to the show. Paras took a big risk of quitting his show ‘Anupamaa’ for ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10’ and in a post on social media, Paras expressed his gratitude towards the show and fans for all the love. He also stated that he was diagnosed with spondylitis and muscle tear in both the knees.

Paras took to social media and wrote: It's a win! I won millions of hearts, finally I can call myself a dancer. Being a part of India's No. 1 reality show itself is big. It's an end of this beautiful journey but I'm taking along beautiful memories, great bonds and kind words by the judges, cast & crew of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10. I'm blessed to have been able to perform in front of my co- contestants and judges as I've always had stage fear. I was too conscious in the beginning but then I overcame my fear. Also i was diagnosed with spondylitis and muscle tear in both the knees but I decided not to give up because this journey was more important than my health. I felt so lucky sitting in the contestant lobby along with the legends and celebrities I've been watching even before I decided to be an actor. Love you guys and I'm gonna miss you all.
