'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' Leads to Channel War Between Star & Colors

Colors dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - Dancing with the stars' has promised a plethora of entertainment and a star studded line up.

However, things might not go according to plan for the production house of ''Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 - Dancing with the stars'. The production House has approached a number of stars like Karan Tacker a.k.a Viren of 'Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain' , Gia Manek a.k.s Gopi Vahu of 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya', Hina Khan a.k.a Akshara of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai'.

While fans are waiting with bated breath to see their favourite stars perform, the channels seem to be waging a silent war of their own. All the above mentioned stars are with shows that are part of Star Plus and they are not keen on letting them associate with a different channel.

Hina Khan who plays Akshara in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' was appaoched to be a part of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and things were on a culmination stage when pressure from Star Plus forced her to withdraw her participation. Tellybuzz tried contacting Hina Khan , but she was unavailable for comments.

There were reports of Giaa Manek being replaced in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' because of her supposed green signal to the dance reality show.

Tellybuzz spoke to Giaa Manek and she replied - "I'm not bound to any Channel. I'm with a production house and it our mutual decision to either say yes or no to the show."
