Jee Le Zaraa: Farhan Akhtar begins location scouting; Katrina, Alia & Priyanka starrer to go on floors soon

After Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Excel Entertainment has announced their upcoming movie in partnership with Tiger Baby, titled "Jee Le Zaraa," which will star Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. The movie will be helmed by Farhan Akhtar and will have a script by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti. It will also be produced by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar. The movie will start production shortly as the filmmakers have already started the film's scouting.

The director of "Jee Le Zaraa," Farhan Akhtar, shared a photo of himself standing in Rajasthan's desert to give us a peek of the recce. "Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan," was the caption of his post. Farhan mentioned Alia, Priyanka, Katrina, Zoya Akhtar, and others in his post. Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer, remarked, "And he is back on the director's chair." Alia Bhatt, who will be seen as the lead in "Jee Le Zaraa," commented, "Can't waittttt," as soon as the director uploaded the photo of the recce.

This ambitious project was annouced in August 2021. Leading ladies of the film,Priyanka,Katrina and Alia shared the teaser, and captioned it, “Did someone say road trip? #JeeLeZaraa." 

Later, Alia Bhatt shared a picture of the trio which made fans go gaga over them. She wrote, "2 years ago 3 girls came together with 1 dream There was only one place to go to make that dream come true; to 4 of the funnest dream-makers and storytellers in the business @faroutakhtar @zoieakhtar @reemakagti1 @ritesh_sid And now 50 Zoom calls later. Priyanka and Katrina also shared the same picture with heartwarming notes.
