Janhvi Kapoor Brings Back Sridevi's Sartorial Memories

Janhvi Kapoor is the girl to look out for in Bollywood. If Hollywood has the Kardashian sisters as style slayers, Bollywood has the Kapoor behne(sisters) as style seers!! 

Also, as Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor as her closest kin, it is safe to say that sartorially slaying is in Janhvi's DNA. The roots of which go back to her iconic mother, late actress, Sridevi, who was always dressed chic for every occasion. Time and again, Janhvi has proved that when it comes to making her style picks, they are all mostly inspired from her mother, Sridevi. The most recent example being, Janhvi at the Tommy Hilfiger event in Mumbai. 

Dressed in an emerald green colour slinky silk, overlap dress, Janhvi brought back memories of Sridevi, who had once donned a similar dress for an event down south. 

Like a true, millennial, Janhvi accessorised her green dress with a stack of dainty neckpieces. But like her mom, she kept her makeup earthy and striking, while hair curled and side parted chic.  This also brought a strong style whiff of Sridevi. 

This was, last evening, but earlier in the past, Janhvi has worn clothes from her mom's closet. An ivory and pink woven saree and a floral dupatta with a cotton suit.
