Janhvi dedicates a HEARTENING note for Sridevi at the start of Dhadak

Debutants Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar have had a safe landing in Bollywood up till now as Dhadak has been receiving rave reviews from the critics and the audience. While the film has been receiving praises for its beauty and innocence, Janhvi and Ishaan are being hailed for their honest and promising performances.

Janhvi had quite an emotional time while shooting for this film as her superstar mother Sridevi had passed away in the middle of the filming. Janhvi had received huge support from Sridevi as she was present on the sets during the initial days of her filming. However, after her mother's loss, Janhvi became head-strong and despite a huge loss, returned to the shoot to fulfill her work commitments just like her mother.

While giving an ode to her late mother Dhadak roles in with a special note dedicated by daughter Janhvi for her mother. It reads, "I love you Mom. This is and always was, for you - Janhvi". This note was sure enough to melt our heart and will have the same impact on you too.

Before this film hit the theatres, Ishaan and Janhvi were on a promotional sphere to promote their dream debut film across various cities. In one of her interviews, Janhvi made a shocking confession that she had seen her mom Sridevi in one of the scenes.

Janhvi expressed, "I am my mumma's daughter, so I look like her, but I know I am different. There was that one montage shot where I am drinking milk in a scene. For a fraction of second, I thought that was mumma... I was like 'Oh God, wasn't it her? Actually, in that shot, I saw my side profile".

When probed further on why she thought in this manner, she explained, "I have one such image of mumma where she used to have juice in the early morning. So the moment I woke up and looked out for her around me, I would see her drinking juice from a side. So yes, that was one moment".
