Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez arrived at Patiala House Court in New Delhi on Friday in relation to the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar and others. While the ED is looking into Fernandez, one of the suspects, and he has already given multiple rounds of testimony to the main investigation team.

The actress was seen also seem visiting the Vaishno Devi Hindu shrine in Jammu and Kashmir before going to court for her hearing. The actress is pictured posing with several fans in pictures that are becoming viral online. On Wednesday morning, Jacqueline reportedly set out on foot from Katra to Bhawan to reach the shrine.

After a brief hearing on December 20, the court adjourned, and she now appears before the court. For the unversed, Enforcement Directorate (ED) was earlier given permission by the same court to take control of 26 cars that had been seized from the suspect Leena Maria Paul (Sukesh's wife) during the inquiry.

According to the ED's allegations in the plea agreement, the cars that were taken from the farmhouse were bought using the case's criminal earnings before being impounded during the case investigation.

The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police submitted a chargesheet in 2021 that named 14 defendants, including Chandrashekhar, his wife Leena Maria Paul, and others. The chargesheet was submitted in accordance with a number of IPC sections and the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act's provisions (MCOCA).
