Jacqueline Fernandez no longer a part of ’the Ghost’ opposite Nagarjuna Akkieni

Praveen Sattaru is directing Akkineni Nagarjuna's upcoming film The Ghost. Kajal Aggarwal left the project a few months ago because she is expecting her first child. The producers then got Jacqueline Fernandez on board. She has, however, withdrawn from the project for unknown reasons. 

According to a source close to the team said," Jacqueline is no longer a part of the film. While we don't know the exact reason, there have been talks that her exit could be after she landed up in trouble in an extortion case." The makers of Nagarjuna's film are still undecided about who to cast in the female lead role. 

Meanwhile, The Ghost's producers have planned an overseas shoot but are waiting for the right time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film's first schedule will most likely begin in 6 months. The Ghost is an action thriller with Saurabh as the music composer, Mukesh G as the cinematographer, and Dharmendra Kakarala as the editor. 

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna is anticipating the release of his next film, Bangarraju, in which he co-stars with Naga Chaitanya. The film is set to be released on January 14, 2022, on Sankranthi. 

Jacqueline, on the other hand, will next be seen in Kick 2, alongside Ram Setu, Bachchan Pandey, and Cirkus.
