'It's not tough to tackle men'- K for Kishore host, Rajeshwari Sachdev

Rajeshwari Sachdev is a performer par excellence. She can act, sing and even dance, and with her vast repertoire of talent, she embraces even the negatives spoken of her, with consummate ease. And as host of the reality show “K for Kishore” she is proving she is nowhere behind as far as hosting is concerned.

As of now, she is enjoying hosting this particular show for reasons same as many others – Passion for Kishore songs. From the third episode, she was joined by singer Babul Supriyo as co-host who is another Kishore fan. How is it hosting the show with Babul? “Babul is a very good singer. He is a good host too. And here the best part is he is very passionate about Kishore Kumar like the rest of us. It’s really a pleasure working with him and having him as the co-host,” Rajeshwari comments.

This is a show that is totally male dominated. So does she feel lost in the crowd of men? According to her, being the only female among all the men does not affect her much. “I don’t think it’s too difficult to tackle men. Or is it?”, she comments jokingly and then adds laughing, “If that’s the case as many feel, then I should pat myself that I am really doing a good job.”

Last but not the least,the buzz around is that Rajeshwari is probably stealing the lime light from Babul as far as hosting is concerned. But Rajeshwari ridicules the thought and opines, “I don’t think that’s the intention in any way. Each one has his plusses and minuses. Babul has his positives, I have mine. Together we are trying to give the show a positive look.”

Can we take it that two positives will always give a positive result? Will this mathematical logic hold good in reality too?
