Last couple of years have been difficult for everyone given the fact that a lot of business failed and people lost their jobs because of the uncertain lockdown. Actors from the industry also faced a lot of issues because of the prevailing problem.
India Forums got in touch with actress Fenil Umrigar who has been a part of shows like Best Friends Forever, Kaala Tika among others. She was last seen in Zee TV’s Raja Beta. In a candid chat with India Forums, Fenil opined about an actors’ job being quite uncertain. She said, “Yes, I guess every actor understands this so, it’s very important to keep a backup plan. Obviously acting is my first love but puri zindagi sirf acting se nahi guzregi na… so I believe every actor should make sure to always have a backup option”.
Talking about facing rejections, Fenil said, “I believe that if I don’t fail, I don’t learn. And if I don't learn, I’ll never grow. I take all rejections and failures in a positive stride and use them as an opportunity to do good, be good”.
Talking about the problems faced in pandemic, Fenil said, “It affected everyone actually, a few have lost their loved ones and family members. This pandemic gave us a hard time. I hope each and every one is taking good care of themselves and their loved ones”.
Lastly, Fenil mentioned that she is looking for a good script for her future project. She said, “Currently, I’m reading scripts and wishing for something good to come my way. If I bag a project, I will surely announce to my fans”.
