"Its family day on my birthday"- Poonam Dhillon

Veteran actress Poonam Dhllion who is currently playing the role of a caring mother Sharada Suresh Modi in Sony TV's popular show Ek Nayi Pehchaan has turned a year older. She has taken an off from her shoot so that she can spend good time with her family. She has no plans for the celebration as she has lost her brother, but her daughter has made plan for her mother to make her day special.

We got in touch with this beautiful actress to know about her daughter's plan and what gift is she expecting.

Poonam who is not shooting today is spending some time with her family, "Well, this year I am not celebrating my birthday because I lost my brother and I am not in a mood to celebrate my birthday. I have got an off today from my shoot and I will spend quality time with my family. So its family day today for me."

Talking about the birthday gift, Poonam is getting time to spend a relaxing day at a resort as it is a birthday gift from her beloved daughter. Sharing her happiness Poonam says, "My daughter has checked in at some resort where we all have come and we are spending our entire day at the resort. I have told everyone not to give any gift as the best birthday gift I have ever got is when I cut a birthday cake with my co-stars on the set of Ek Nayi Pehchaan."

Poonam is extremely pleased with the gesture of her fans who have wished her and sent her messages on her birthday, "Thank you so much I am really obliged for your wishes. I appreciate all the good wishes and blessings which all my fans and friends have send on social networking sites, on my phone and through cards," concludes the actress.
